The notification of the UTET 2024 (also called UKUTET or UKTET) came out on July 20, 2024. You can start applying online from July 23, 2024, at 10:00 am until August 17, 2024, at 11:59 pm. Make sure to pay the application fee by August 19, 2024, before 11:59 pm. You can edit your application from August 20 to August 22, 2024, until 11:59 pm.

The UTET 2024 exam is on October 26, 2024. UTET-I will be in the morning from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, and UTET-II will be in the evening from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm on the same day.

UTET Eligibility Criteria

Primary Level (Class I-V):

  1. Completed 12th grade with at least 50% marks, and either graduated or in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  2. Completed 12th grade with at least 45% marks, and either graduated or in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per NCTE Regulations, 2002.
  3. Completed 12th grade with at least 50% marks, and either graduated or in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education.
  4. Completed 12th grade with at least 50% marks, and either graduated or in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  5. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree and either graduated or in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  6. Shiksha Mitra with a Diploma in Elementary Education from IGNOU.

Junior Level (Class VI-VIII):

  1. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree and either graduated or in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  2. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks, and either graduated or in the final year of a Bachelor in Education.
  3. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% marks, and either graduated or in the final year of a Bachelor in Education, in accordance with updated NCTE Regulations.
  4. Completed 12th grade with at least 50% marks, and either graduated or in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education.
  5. Completed 12th grade with at least 50% marks, and either graduated or in the final year of a 4-year BA/BScEd or BAEd/BScEd.
  6. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks, and either graduated or in the final year of BEd (Special Education).
  7. Has at least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation, and either graduated or in the final year of a Bachelor in Education.
