The Territorial Army (TA) has announced 184 job openings, which many job seekers find attractive. Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

  • Candidates should be at least 18 years old and no older than 42 years on the recruitment date.

Educational Qualifications:

  1. Soldier General Duty (GD):
    • Must have passed 10th grade with at least 45% marks overall and 33% in each subject. If the board uses a grading system, a minimum of D grade (33-40%) is required in each subject, and an overall C2 grade.
  2. Soldier Clerk:
    • Must have passed 12th grade (any stream: Arts, Science, or Commerce) with at least 50% in each subject. Also, 50% marks in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in 12th grade are required.
  3. Soldier Tradesman (Except Housekeeper & Mess Keeper):
    • Must have passed 10th grade. There’s no overall percentage requirement, but you must have at least 33% in each subject.
  4. Soldier Tradesman (Housekeeper & Mess Keeper):
    • Must have passed 8th grade. Again, there’s no overall percentage requirement, but at least 33% is needed in each subject.

Documents Required With Application

If you’re attending the rally, make sure you carry these documents:

  • Educational Certificates: Originals and photocopies of your 8th, 10th, or 12th pass certificates.
  • Identity Proof: Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or any other valid ID proof.
  • Photographs: Recent passport-sized photos (keep multiple copies, usually around 4-5).
  • Domicile Certificate: Proof that you belong to the state or region.
  • Caste Certificate: If applicable (EWS, OBC, ST, SC categories).

  3. Medical Examination: A medical check-up to ensure you’re healthy.
