Eligibility For Nabanna Scholarship Application 2024?
To be eligible for the Nabanna Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Provide copies of mark sheets from all previous exams.
- Submit copies of the rank card and allotment letter if applying through JEE or a similar exam.
- Include a copy of the family income certificate from one of the authorized officials (e.g., DM, SDO, BDO, Group-A Govt. Officer, Deputy Commissioner).
- The family’s annual income should not exceed Rs 60,000.
- Have at least 65% in Madhyamik for Higher Secondary, 60% in Higher Secondary for college students, and 55% in undergraduate studies for postgraduate students.
- Provide a recommendation letter from an MP or MLA to the Chief Minister, mentioning the family’s monthly income.
- Submit a self-declaration signed by the student about their current course, year/semester, and any other scholarships or aid received, with the institution’s head’s signature and seal.
- Provide bank account details (IFSC code, branch code, branch name, account number, bank name) along with a photocopy of the bank passbook.
- Include a photocopy of the tuition/admission fee book.
- Provide contact details with a personal mobile number.

How To Apply Online Nabanna Scholarship?
- Go to www.cmrf.wb.gov.in to access the Nabanna Scholarship portal.
- Select the option to apply for educational financial help.
- Carefully read all the instructions before agreeing.
- Since you’re applying for the first time, start by creating an account.
- Enter your phone number, confirm it with an OTP, set a password, and click Sign Up.
- On the login page, enter your registered phone number, password, and the captcha code, then click Login.
- Provide your name, father’s name, birthdate, age, district, pin code, family income, email, and other necessary details, then click Submit.
- Fill in details about your education, such as the name of your board or university, current course, recent exam results (Class 10/12), total marks, etc.
- Enter your bank’s name, account number, and IFSC code, then click Submit.
- Attach copies of your admission receipt, recommendation/income certificates, self-declaration, Class 10 admit card and mark sheet.
