HSSC Police Constable Eligibility 2024

Educational Qualification:

You must have completed 12th grade from a recognized board or school.
You need to have studied Hindi or Sanskrit in your 10th grade.
Higher education won’t give you extra points.

Age Limit:

You should be between 18 and 25 years old as of September 1, 2024.

Age Relaxation:

Ex-servicemen can get an extra four years of age relaxation.
Candidates from SC (Scheduled Castes), BC (Backward Classes), and EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) can get up to 5 years of age relaxation.

Selection Process For Haryana Police Constable 2024

The selection process for the Haryana Police Constable position includes several stages:

Physical Measurement Test (PMT):- You need to meet certain physical standards set by the Haryana Police.

Physical Screening Test (PST):

Male candidates: Run 2.5 km in 12 minutes.
Female candidates: Run 1 km in 6 minutes.
Ex-servicemen: Run 1 km in 5 minutes.

Knowledge Test:

This test is very important, making up 94.5% of the selection process, and includes multiple-choice questions.
The test will be in both Hindi and English unless it’s a language proficiency test.
To pass, general category candidates need at least 50% marks, while reserved categories need 40%.
Candidates with NCC certificates can get extra marks (1-3 marks depending on the level of their certificate).
